Job Responsibilities

Provide armed stationary security at a military site, staff guardhouse, and control access to the facility. Conduct foot and vehicle patrols covering buildings and grounds. Log activities, perform fire watch, and issue reports. Escort unauthorized persons from grounds. One year of military, law enforcement, or security experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $20.00/hour; overtime for holidays and shifts over 10 hours
• Hours: Full-Time, 32-40 hours/week

Requirements

• At least 21 years old to receive armed security certification
• At least 2 years of security or military experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain DPSST Armed Security License
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass annual Physical Ability test

Additional Information

Uniforms and equipment are provided. RAMS will cover instructor training and certification fees if employed for at least 1 year.
