During the transition period of 120 days all training and required certifications will be completed to allow them to progress to an Armed Security Officer role. The primary function of this transitional role is to further develop the necessary skills, training, and certifications required to carry a weapon and function as a fully Armed Security Officer.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent (Required)Certification/LicensureState DMV Motor Vehicle Record and current Valid Driver’s license (Required)Experience1 year of security, military or police experience (Preferred)An offer of employment for a Security Officer Armed Recruit is contingent on passing the pre-employment screening process, which includes a fitness assessment and psychological evaluation. Once the preemployment process is cleared and employment has begun, incumbents will have 120 days to successfully complete and obtain other job specific certifications, as defined in the job profile. Failure to obtain these certifications within the prescribed timeframe will result in termination of employment. Annual fitness assessment is required, and psychological evaluations are required every 3 years as a condition of continued employment in this position.We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.86 - $29.15 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
