OPS Security Group in Reno, NV is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect people and property, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV and access control, and respond to emergencies.

You will complete daily activity logs, maintain a professional appearance, and provide excellent customer service while coordinating with local authorities when needed. This full-time role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and overtime; Paid Time Off, training, and a 401(k) program are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; security experience preferred.
• Able to read and write clear reports and logs.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English and follow post orders.

Responsibilities

• Protect personnel, facilities, property, and sensitive information.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols by foot or vehicle.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
• Control access by verifying identification and authorizing entry.
• Enforce site policies and post orders; respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist visitors and provide directions or general assistance.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
