Job summary

Qualifications

• Active State Armed Security Level Three Guard License (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, the Level Three New Mexico Guard Card
• Minimum of 21 years of age, or higher as required by law
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills; able to write clear incident reports
• Problem solving skills; able to assess and evaluate situations quickly
• Attention to detail; able to interpret data

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality armed security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
• Preserve order and enforce rules and directives for site safety
• Maintain proficiency in use of assigned equipment and weapons
• Greet guests and escort visitors and contractors; secure ingress/egress and classified information
• Follow site manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and incidents
• Respond to alarms and act as a first responder; provide first aid as necessary
