Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking an Armed Police Officer PRN to protect hospital assets, staff, and patients while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires sworn officer status, ongoing law enforcement training, and the ability to coordinate with local police during emergencies. You will perform patrols, enforce safety policies, and document incidents as part of a dedicated security team.

Qualifications

• Must be a police academy graduate.
• Must be an employed, sworn and commissioned police officer with the local Police Department.
• Documentation of ongoing law enforcement training as regulated by the Law Enforcement Agency.
• Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) certification/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide uniformed security and protect hospital assets, staff and patients.
• Perform preventative patrols and respond to security incidents.
• Coordinate with police during emergencies and enforce hospital safety policies.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports and hand off to relief staff as required.
