Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking professional Enhanced Security Officers for a people-facing security role. This position requires strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards and deescalation skills.

This role involves monitoring property, reporting suspicious activity, responding to emergencies, and completing logs and incident reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
• 3 years of security, military or law enforcement experience is required.

• Basic computer knowledge (email, reports, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements

This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards and deescalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and report suspicious activity

Preferred Experience

Candidates should meet at least one of the following:

• 3 years of armed security experience
• Military experience
• Law Enforcement Experience
• State or federally certified law enforcement academy training

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to wear a security uniform
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT):
• 100-meter run in 66 seconds or less
• 30 push-ups
• 26 sit-ups

Additional Information

• CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS training preferred or ability to obtain
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Candidates cannot have previously worked at the Hope Center
