Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for an Armed Patrol role in Charlotte, NC. The position involves patrolling the facility, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires armed security experience, a high school diploma or GED, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related experience.
• At least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card or license is preferred, and may be required for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain patrol activity, incident reports, and daily logs with professionalism and discretion.
