Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking an Armed Security Guard to patrol casinos, smoke shops, and parking areas, protecting guests and employees. You will enforce safety policies, verify identifications, and respond to incidents while coordinating with local authorities.

The role requires a guard license, firearms knowledge, and the ability to work varied shifts in a dynamic casino environment with smoke exposure.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 6 months security experience.
CLEET armed license preferred; required within 180 days of hire/transfer.
Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license required.
Knowledge of firearms and defensive tactics.
Surveillance video systems and chain of evidence knowledge.
Pass custody control and weapons training approved by CNE.
Able to obtain licensing by gaming authority.
Valid driver’s license.
Lift up to 50 lbs; flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.
Work outdoors and on casino floors with smoke and noise exposure.

Responsibilities

Actively patrol CNE properties including casinos, shops, and parking lots.
Prevent entry with prohibited items and verify age identifications.
Greet guests, provide directions, and assist when needed.
Respond to incidents, perform CPR/first aid as required.
Detect suspicious activity and file detailed incident reports.
Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and safety agencies.
Prepare investigative and patrol reports; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.
