Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX to serve patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a professional presence while following site policies and emergency protocols.

This full-time driving post requires a valid driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Valid Texas driver’s license per policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Comfort with computer/tablet usage, preferred.
• Comfort with handcuffs, pepper spray, baton, preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations calmly per protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control for restricted areas and deliveries.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate findings to leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.


• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures for restricted areas, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site‑specific requirements.


• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Be comfortable using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton, preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
