Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Hospital Driver in Killeen, TX to serve healthcare facilities and surrounding locations. You will drive to posts, patrol areas, deter incidents, and support a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.

Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Hospital Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
