Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur – 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri – 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat – 07:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; document and report unusual activity, incidents, and policy violations.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and documentation while following applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies related to armed assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
