Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Armed Security Officer to protect client assets, ensure personnel safety, and maintain a secure environment.

The role requires vigilance, responsibility, and strict adherence to security protocols, with a background in law enforcement or corrections and the ability to handle a firearm responsibly. Key responsibilities include patrolling, deter/detect/respond to threats, controlling access, and providing emergency response.

Qualifications

• Background in Military Police, law enforcement, or certified corrections is required.
• Must have own firearm and valid license to carry; armed guard license required in applicable states.
• Certified in arrest control, handcuff, and baton use.
• Pass random drug testing and a psychological evaluation.
• Physically capable of patrolling, responding to incidents, and managing potentially intense confrontations.
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal security and firearm regulations.
• Schedule Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and identify security breaches or hazards.
• Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents promptly and professionally.
• Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide emergency response, including de-escalation, arrest control, and restraining individuals as necessary.
• Maintain clear incident reports and documentation for all security-related incidents.
• Engage with individuals in a courteous and professional manner to enforce rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when required.
