Star Pro Security Patrol, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to safeguard apartment premises in Orange County, CA. The role requires firearms proficiency, sound judgment, and vigilance in potentially dangerous situations.

Responsibilities include patrols, enforcing access control, responding to emergencies, reporting incidents, and coordinating with authorities. Part-time to full-time schedules are available with a pay range of $21–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Armed Security Certification required with valid Guard Card and Exposed Firearms permit.
• Firearms proficiency demonstrated and up-to-date training.
• Driver's license valid; driving company patrol units is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas on foot and via surveillance systems.
• Enforce security procedures including access control and visitor checks.
• Deter criminal activity with a professional, authoritative presence.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents or fires.
• Safely handle firearms and use them only as a last resort when life or property is at risk.
• Document all security incidents in detailed reports and records.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and clients.
