Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

Pay Rate: $22.45 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid North Carolina Armed Security Professional License (NC: Armed SP Lic).
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
