St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join the Ft. Thomas Security Team. This full-time role supports patients, visitors, and staff with a strong emphasis on professionalism and customer relations.

The position requires firearms-related training, attendance at mandatory trainings, and collaboration with local law enforcement to ensure a safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with applicable Criminal Justice experience.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by the Hospital insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Directs visitors, patients and employees to appropriate locations and intervenes to prevent disturbances.
• Protects, secures, and safeguards all persons on SEH property.
• Provide way-finding and general assistance for patients and visitors during security duties.
• Maintain documentation with professional case reports, logs, and daily data entry.
