Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer (Part Time) for a government location in Dallas, TX. You will monitor, patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

This role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts via the Claim a Shift platform. Requirements include at least 1 year in security, armed guard card, and a HS diploma; CPR/First Aid preferred; a

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Armed guard card or license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information.
Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain required documentation.
