Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer in Richmond, VA. You will patrol government facilities, deter unauthorized activity, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Expect armed duties, strict adherence to procedures, and professional communications.

Schedule includes Tue and Wed from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM with room to grow via our Shift platform. A valid armed guard card/license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Armed guard license/card required or verified in process.
• Ability to follow site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Pass background check and drug screening where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management per site rules.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and security activities.
