Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer in New Orleans, LA. You will patrol commercial real estate locations, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, monitoring access, responding to alarms, and documenting activity. The role requires an armed guard card, 21+ years, and ability to work a set schedule including evenings

Qualifications

Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check will be conducted.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or client representatives.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access and verify authorized entry per site procedures; document activity.
Maintain readiness and control of assigned equipment, including firearms.
