Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken
• Monitor access points, support orderly entry and exit, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow applicable laws and site-specific requirements for the handling of assigned equipment

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.

• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow applicable laws, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific requirements for the authorized carrying and handling of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
