GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is seeking a Tactical Armed Security Officer in California to monitor and protect people and property across diverse settings. You will read environments, anticipate risks, and act accordingly while patrolling areas such as retail locations, airports, and detention facilities.

The role requires U.S. work authorization, a High School Diploma or GED, and possession of a CA BSIS Guard Card with a CA Exposed Firearm Permit.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid certifications are assets
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• State armed security license and a CA BSIS Guard Card required
• CA Exposed Firearm Permit required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

  • Sunday, 4:00 am - 12:30 pm

Responsibilities of Tactical Armed Security Guard

Qualifications of Tactical Armed Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You are at least 21 years of age
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid driver's license
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have CPR certification
• You have at least 2 years experience as an Armed Officer
• You have a state issued armed security license and meet any additional requirements to carry a firearm as a security officer in your state.
• You have a CA security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• You have a CA Exposed Firearm Permit
