Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking an Armed Security Officer Overnight Shipyard Site Patrol. You will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace/defense location, perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time overnight role requires a TSA TWIC, armed guard license, high school diploma, background check, and 21+; schedule is Mon–Sun 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience.
• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• State, county or city security license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access-control concerns calmly and via site protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor authorization as required.
• Maintain patrol and incident documentation in compliance with laws and firearms protocols.

As a Armed Security Officer Overnight Shipyard Site Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, while following applicable laws, policies, and firearms protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
