Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current, valid State of Michigan Concealed Pistol License.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• No felonies; able to pass criminal background check.
• Able to pass drug test at hire and annually.
• Citizen of the United States.
• Able to meet grooming and appearance standards.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Guard posts at entry/exit points of the local military base.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the grounds to ensure safety and security.
• Check employee, vendor, and visitor identifications.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities and report incidents.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines.
