Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Justice Buildings in Las Vegas, NV. Part-time schedule with shifts starting early morning and evenings.

The role involves patrolling, deterring incidents, and responding to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service. Minimum requirements include 3 years of related experience or a college degree, an Armed Guard Card/License, and being 21+.

Qualifications

• 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card/License (required).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with law enforcement or site management as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and document observations and incidents per site procedures.
• Maintain a visible professional presence and effective communication with the public and site personnel.
