Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Washington DC. The officer will safeguard personnel, property, and information, patrol the facility, and enforce rules. Requires 3+ years of armed security or related experience and firearms proficiency.

High school diploma or equivalent and 21+ years of age are expected. This role offers competitive pay and ongoing training. Weekly pay and opportunities for advancement are emphasized; open availability is required for shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear incident reports.
• Ability to complete range qualifications and functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility to protect people and assets.
• Preserve order and enforce site rules and directives.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet guests, escort visitors, and secure ingress/egress points.
• Report safety concerns and incidents via written and verbal communication.
• Respond to alarms and act as first responder; provide first aid as necessary.
