Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Security Officer III to support security operations across hospital campuses. You will patrol, monitor alarms and access points, and enforce safety policies to protect staff, patients, and visitors.

Position requires NYS driver license, pistol permit, armed security certification, and CPR/First Aid; 2+ years in security is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 2 year or Associate Degree in Security or Law Enforcement, preferred.
• Must possess a valid NYS driver license and NYS Pistol Permit, required.
• NYS Armed Security Guard License or NYS Certified Police/Peace Officer, required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire, required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and maintains security across all campus areas including buildings, parking lots, and data center.
• Operates security equipment and monitors alarms, cameras, and access control; conducts night and special patrols.
• Maintains logs, issues IDs, controls access to locked areas, and responds to emergencies and incidents.
