Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a site in Northern Virginia. This full-time role involves armed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and providing customer service to protect people and property.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, FPS suitability, and multiple certifications (CPR/First Aid, firearms qualifications, NWDTP, OC/Baton/handcuffing, and de‑escalation).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
• FPS suitability will be required (up to 60 days)
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• Federal and state firearms qualifications
• NWDTP certification
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certification
• Defensive tactics and de‑escalation certification
• Two years armed security experience or military/law enforcement background
• Must be 21+ years old
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and CCTV systems
• Strong written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services to protect people and property
• Build and maintain relationships with client employees and guests
• Report safety concerns, breaches, and incidents
• Respond to emergencies per security protocol
• Follow site-specific orders and manuals
• Greet visitors and assist as needed
• Patrol the facility on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor phones, CCTV, and alarms
