Platinum Group Security seeks an Armed Security Officer for a full-time position in Marietta, GA. You will maintain a visible, professional presence, respond to incidents, patrol premises, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Georgia Blue Card or eligibility, a high school diploma, prior security or related experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Georgia Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Prior security, law enforcement, corrections, Military police experience preferred or related field.
• Must pass a background check.
• Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure safety of personnel, visitors, and property.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
• Use excellent customer service and communication skills to deescalate tense or potentially violent situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Accurately document and report incidents, activities, and observations using company-approved forms and protocols.
• Inspect the premises for security risks, hazards, or violations and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
