Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL to protect clients across Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education and Government. The role requires D & G license and a background check, with duties including safety procedures, incident response and site patrols.

Shifts include Morning hours, with pay between $15 and $26.50 per hour. Eligible candidates will have 1+ years of armed security or related experience and must pass a drug screen as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• 1+ years prior military/law enforcement or armed security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
