Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Baton Rouge, LA. The role requires 1+ year armed security, law enforcement, or military experience and candidates must be 21+ with an armed guard card.

Qualifications

• 1+ years armed security or related experience.
• 21+ years of age and eligible for employment.
• Armed guard card/license and related certifications.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required or obtainable.
• Firearms qualifications and NWDTP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed patrols and access control per post orders.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; report incidents.
• Deter threats while ensuring customer service standards.
• Respond to emergencies with professional poise and discretion.
• Greet visitors, enforce site-specific protocols, and document events.
• Collaborate with client staff to maintain safety and security.
