Job summary

Allied Universal® in Ruston, LA is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide armed protection for a high-profile client. Responsibilities include armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and incident reporting with strong customer service.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, an armed guard card/license, and relevant CPR/First Aid and firearms certifications. This is a full-time position with a $28.00 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Must have firearms qualifications and related licenses.
• Minimum of two years armed security or military experience or related service.
• Able to operate radio/console and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security and patrol the facility.
• Control access and monitor CCTV and alarms.
• Report safety concerns and incidents in writing and verbally.
• Respond to emergencies following established protocol.
• Greet visitors and protect people and property.
• Coordinate with client staff and guests to ensure safety.
• Maintain post orders and site procedures.
• Engage with the public in a professional manner.
