Armorous is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Recycling Yard in San Jose, CA. The role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication to handle security incidents and deter theft.

Shifts run Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with additional shifts possible. The position offers an updated pay rate of $27.00 per hour, weekly direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience guarding properties and deterring crime.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience on graveyard shifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity and safety hazards.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond quickly to incidents and assist in emergencies.
• Document daily activity and incidents in reports.
• Communicate security updates to supervisors and team.
