Job Description

In Mesquite, Nevada:

Allied Universal Security is seeking Armed Security Officers to join our Armed Government Buildings team in a full time schedule!

Schedule: 7:30am - 5:30pm Weekdays!

Uniforms and Equipment at no cost!

Must have: 2 year minimum of verifiable ARMED employment OR 200hr Training Experience Required in one or more of the following:

• Military Discharge Document (DD214)

• Proof of graduation from Law Enforcement Academy (POST – Peace Officer Standard Training)

• Verification of Employment Letter/Email from previous employer. Must Include Company Letterhead, Point of Contact, and Phone Number.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have 2 year minimum of verifiable ARMED employment OR 200hr Training Experience Required (see above)

• Have professional demeanor and appearance

• Demonstrate Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Preferably be a graduate of law enforcement or military police training

Paid Orientation, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k for Full-Time Employees!

Pay $19.75 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
