Job summary

A & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Armed Licensed Security Officer to join our team for second and third shifts in Missouri. This in-person role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, focusing on protecting personnel, property, and assets across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong observation skills and a calm, professional approach to emergencies. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, detailed incident reporting, and supporting emergency

Qualifications

• Must have valid armed security license and be able to work in government building.
• Customer Service and De-Escalation training a must.
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with access control systems and security technology platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with conflict de-escalation abilities.
• Excellent observational skills with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of metal detectors is a plus.
• Knowledge of access control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Manage access control systems to verify authorized personnel and visitors.
• Write detailed incident reports accurately documenting security events or concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents or security threats.
• Enforce security policies in compliance with organizational regulations and legal standards.
• Assist with emergency response procedures such as fire drills, evacuations, or medical emergencies.
• Maintain physical security measures through manual handling and proper use of security tools.
• Engage with visitors and staff professionally to promote a safe environment.
• Support law enforcement or emergency services during incidents when necessary.
