Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a full-time technology site in Midland, TX. You will patrol, deter incidents, verify access, and deliver customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report hazards or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain documentation including patrol logs and incident reports as required.

As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Technology in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift communications, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
