Qualifications

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 3 years in security-related roles.
• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• College degree required.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by implementing security procedures and emergency response activities at government locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports according to site procedures.
