Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Greenville, SC to safeguard clients across industries, including Aero/Defense. Responsibilities include armed patrols, access control, incident reporting, and delivering top-tier customer service in a dynamic security environment.

This role requires an armed guard card, 3+ years of security-related experience, and the ability to work a fixed day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace/defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving and coordination with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, including firearms, following laws, training requirements, and company policies.
