Armed Security Officer - Full-time - 1st Shift
TAMPA, FLORIDA

• Pay Range: $17.05 - $17.55 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time 1st SHIFT

Shifts Available: Monday through Sunday

Shift Times: 07:00-19:00

Starting Compensation: $17.05 to $17.55 per hour
* Initial 16 hours of orientation training paid at $12.00 per hour. Site-specific training provided at $17.05 per hour.

Join our Critical Infrastructure Security Team to protect our Homeland. We are hiring dedicated professionals with a G License to perform security access duties, primarily controlling access to secured areas for cleared individuals. These positions support operations in Hillsborough County and may involve working at various sites in the Tampa Bay Area. Pay varies based on work site location.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Approved Florida Class “D” & “G” license from the DOACS, with completion of the required security courses.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least one year of security or supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to various sites.
• Smartphone and internet access.
• Intermediate computer skills (email, web browsing, MS Word, PDF).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills:

• Possession or willingness to obtain T.W.I.C. credential.
• Knowledge of security and law enforcement guidelines.
• Knowledge of Hillsborough County laws and regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• College education is a plus.
