Essential Functions

• Ensure the facility receives high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and guests.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing.
• Handle security issues and emergencies according to MaxSent protocol.
• Understand site-specific operations, manuals, and post orders.
• Greet visitors and employees cheerfully and professionally.
• Assist visitors and employees with questions.
• Remain flexible and adapt to changing environments.
• Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
• Answer phones, greet guests, and monitor CCTV systems and alarms.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or older, with a high school diploma or GED.
• Meet at least one of the following criteria: 2 years of armed security experience, 2 years of military or National Guard service, completion of state-certified law enforcement training, or police officer standard training courses.
• Prior firearms experience preferred.
• DHS Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Clearance is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.

Pay Rate

$34.11 per hour, plus benefits including health & welfare, pension, and others.
