Essential Functions

• Ensure high-quality security services to protect people and property
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and guests
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing
• Handle security issues and emergencies according to protocol
• Understand site-specific operations, manuals, and post orders
• Greet visitors and employees cheerfully and professionally
• Answer questions and assist visitors and employees
• Remain flexible to changing environments
• Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle
• Answer phones, greet guests and employees
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or older
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one of the following: 2 years of armed security experience, military/National Guard service, law enforcement training, or police training courses
• Prior firearms experience preferred
• DHS Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Clearance preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Effective oral and written communication
• Neat, professional appearance and demeanor
• Customer service skills
• Ability to handle emergencies effectively
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and references required

Pay

$33.35 - $28.35/hr, with $500 Health & Welfare benefits.
