Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Federal Protective Services assignment in Washington, DC. The role requires armed security experience and the ability to obtain a DHS suitability. You will perform patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting while delivering strong customer service.

Site pay starts at $33/hr after training, with paid training at $25/hr. The position is full-time and requires compliance with site-specific procedures and federal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and current driver’s license if driving.
• Licensing per state/local laws and DHS suitability may be required.
• NWDTP certification and firearms qualifications are required or preferred.
• 2+ years of armed security, US military service, or armed civilian law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services per Allied Universal standards.
• Conduct armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and emergencies.
• Follow site orders and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
• Greet visitors, patrol the facility on foot or vehicle, and respond to incidents.
