Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer with Level III Texas Certification for an Austin, TX site serving Tech/Media/Telecom clients. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and maintain clear logs and reports.

The role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, an Armed Guard Card or License, and three years of armed security experience. Pay is $30.00 per hour with Daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, armed security professional, or a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, common areas, and parking locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders.
