Job summary

Allied Universal in Bennettsville, SC is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect clients at a food and beverage location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and respond professionally to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time position offers a $15.00 per hour pay rate, a consistent 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, training opportunities, and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct armed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and vehicle access; document observations and incidents.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with policies and laws.
