Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect retail store locations with a pay rate of $32.50 per hour. The role requires flexible availability across all days and shifts, and involves safeguarding clients in diverse settings including commercial real estate and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site
