Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an attentive security professional to patrol designated areas, monitor for hazards, and respond to emergencies. The role emphasizes courteous interactions with customers and employees while maintaining thorough logs and reports.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, monitoring entrances, and supporting incident investigations. A high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required by law; criminal histories considered as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
