Job summary

DSI Security Services is hiring Armed Security Officers in the Andalusia, AL area. You will maintain a secure environment for clients and the public, perform patrols, control access, and respond to incidents as part of a professional security team.

The position requires prior military or law enforcement experience preferred, valid license and concealed carry permit, and a commitment to safety and quality service. Training is provided. Opportunities for advancement exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior military or Class I law enforcement experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and concealed carry permit.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
• Provide visible patrols (vehicle and foot) to deter unsafe or unauthorized activity.
• Control access at gates, checkpoints, and restricted areas.
• Conduct searches and escorts as required.
• Respond to calls for service, incidents, and emergency situations.
• Observe, report, and address safety hazards and suspicious activity.
• Provide armed tactical or contingency response when required.
• Interact professionally with the public and client representatives.
• Follow all DSI and site-specific post instructions.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Participate in required training and comply with DSI safety policies.
