Job summary

AEGIS Security & Investigations, Inc. is seeking security personnel for Fresno, CA. The opening covers both armed and unarmed postings with shifts from Friday to Tuesday, in Fresno.

Salary ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, with required BSIS permits and training. Candidates should have 1–2 years in security/military/law enforcement and a clean professional appearance. Offers include standard benefits and opportunities for advancement as shifts become available.

Qualifications

• California Guard Card (BSIS) required.
• Firearms Permit (BSIS) required for armed postings.
• Chemical Agent permit required.
• 1–2 years of experience in high-end security, military, or law enforcement.
• GED or High School Diploma; Associate degree or some college preferred.
• 40 hours of BSIS training and annual refresher.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of entry points.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Perform access control by monitoring entrances and departures.
• Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms.
• Circulate among visitors and staff to maintain order and safety.
• Respond to on-site emergencies with authorities.
• Conduct pat-downs and metal detector searches.
• Enforce applicable laws, policies, and codes.
