This position protects personnel, facilities, property, and assets through access control, patrol operations, emergency response, and security enforcement activities in support of federal security missions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two years of US Armed Forces service or equivalent security experience.
• Associate's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Completion of a police officer basic training academy is preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Ability to pass required background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services for government facilities, personnel, and assets.
• Perform access control and traffic control per procedures.
• Conduct walking and motorized patrols to deter threats.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security events.
• Inspect personnel, vehicles, buildings, and facilities.
• Inspect packages and property as required.
• Monitor activity and identify suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
• Document incidents and observations in reports and logs.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and government personnel.
• Maintain equipment, uniforms, and readiness.
• Support emergency response and incident management.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
