Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government office front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information as required, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or waiting areas.
• Monitor access to the facility, maintain visitor logs, and help deter unauthorized entry in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor interactions, and security-related incidents, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

As an Armed Front Desk Security Professional at a government location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence while supporting access control and visitor management. You will communicate professionally with employees and guests, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
