You will enforce access control, screen individuals with detectors, conduct vehicle inspections, and respond to emergencies while maintaining professional conduct. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring security systems, and delivering excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• US citizenship or lawful permanent residency for current military members or honorable discharge.
• Must obtain a background clearance.
• Must possess valid state firearms license/permit.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Enforce access control for entry to authorized individuals, packages and vehicles.
• Operate walk-through and handheld detectors and screening equipment.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
• Identify and respond to security threats per established protocols.
• Prevent, detect and apprehend unauthorized access or violations.
• Execute emergency closure procedures and provide security assistance during crises.
• Perform roving guard services and perimeter/interior patrols; monitor for security breaches.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to facility employees and visitors.
• Operate in the Security Operations Center (SOC) as central hub for the facility.
• Monitor and operate intrusion detection and access control systems.
