Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover for the Aurora, CO site. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, assist employees and visitors, and respond to incidents with professional judgment.

This role offers anchor shifts with the option to pick extra shifts via our scheduling platform, fostering earnings growth while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and public emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down information in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

As an Armed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover in Aurora, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:
